4) a lesson I learned from this story is that we must be people not so selfish when someone asks us help without expecting anything in return

5) Oscar Fingal O'Flahertie Wills Wilde was born in Dublin on 16 October 1854, His father was a successful surgeon and his mother a writer and literary hostess. Wilde was educated at Trinity College, Dublin and Magdalen College, Oxford. While at Oxford, Wilde became involved in the aesthetic movement. After he graduated, he moved to London to pursue a literary career. A first volume of his poetry was published in 1881 but as well as composing verse, he contributed to publications such as the 'Pall Mall Gazette', wrote fairy stories and published a novel 'The Picture of Dorian Gray' (1891).

• How does the story begin?

the story begins when the selfish giant sees children playing in the garden and the furious giant told to children -You can not play in my garden! -

• How does the story end?

the story ends when the giant is already very old and sees a special child who tells him to accompany him to the sky to rest. Finally the giant is not selfish

• Did you like the story or not? Why?

I liked the history and that we should all stop being selfish and share with the people surrounding us, given a climate of love and peace

• Which is your favorite part of the story you read?

my favorite part of the story is when the giant speaks with special child and the child goes to the heart of the giant filling it with love

• Who is your favorite character and why?

the giant, already reflects to people that now they are being very selfish and that are isolated from the people.

Summary of the Story: 
Selfish Giant

The story tells the story of the selfish giant who built a wall around your beautiful garden to keep children away. one day the giant finds some children playing in the garden and very angry giant told the children - not kids in my garden!-.However the giant Garden was always winter, any season of the year not wanted to go there, but, the next day it appeared a special child and talk to the giant saying that I had to stop being selfish or he didn't bring back to the summer so the giant heard the words of the special child and invite all the children of the village to your garden. but going from the days the special child had disappeared Although many days later the special child appears with some brands in the hand and legs,the giant very afraid tells him what happened the child tells him that they are the marks of the love

• giant: gigante - a very large strong person who is often cruel and stupid - There are many myths about giants that live in the mountains.

• village: pueblo - a very small town located in a country area - Her books are about village life.

• summer: verano - the warmest season of the year, coming between spring and autumn/fall - It's very hot here in summer.

• season: temporada - any of the four main periods of the year: spring, summer, autumn/fall and winter - The hotels are always full during the peak season
